Standing outside a shop in city centre Manchester we were buying potted plants for our daughter who was starting off at University as a first year student in Halls. The queue outside this shop indicted we were not the only ones with the same idea…..
Whilst in the queue, and setting a good example of not looking at my phone, I was viewing the huge array of plants all within the same standard boring pots. At this stage I thought why not add some more fun to these great universal gifts and add some personality, a jacket, to cover the pot and distinguish it even more. Not only that but as a gift they can then give more value to share the personally of the potted plant for the individual. E.g. A lab coat for a medical student, chefs whites for a catering student, a high viz for a builder. The list was endless. It would be a gift which had thought.
This then led me to Cozy Pots. We often all have an idea or 2 but don’t carry them forward. They just remain a thought. Just imagine what if? Suffice to say on this occasion it was decided to go for it and Cozy Pots slowly started.
Cozy Pots was then formed, creating designs with skillful designers and then finding producers. There are a lot of clothing manufacturers but not a lot who can produce such quality on a miniature scale. The time taken to find and develop the right quality has been lengthy, as I firmly believe if I wont accept it then why should others.
Cozy Pots is a new venture and aimed at people who like a little fun and have personality. There are several designs and as time goes on more will be introduced, as the list of personality types is endless.
At Cozy Pots we understand the drive for sustainability, alongside the fact we need a delicate balance with aesthetics and functionality. We aim to provide a product which encompasses all this while still serving its purpose of providing fun and wrapping plant pots with a personality.
